MASTER CLIENT AGREEMENT

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 Hair Extensions Installation

Hair Extensions Installation is a cosmetic service involving the attachment of hair extensions to the Client’s existing natural hair using professional hair extension methods, including but not limited to keratin bond extensions, tape-in extensions, and weft extensions.

The Client understands and agrees that hair extension installation does not stimulate hair growth, does not restore hair density, and does not alter the biological or medical condition of the Client’s natural hair or scalp.

1.2 Hair Extensions Maintenance

A service performed using previously installed hair extensions, which may include removal, re-bonding, re-taping, moving up, or reinstalling existing hair. Maintenance does not include new hair production unless separately agreed.

1.3 Express Services (Express Move-Up / Express Re-tape / Express Keratin Correction)

Express Services (including Express Move-Up, Express Re-tape, and Express Keratin Correction) are limited-scope, time-restricted services intended solely as temporary adjustments, not as full installation, reinstallation, or transformation services.

The Client expressly acknowledges and understands that Express Services:

  • Are not equivalent to a full hair extension installation or full maintenance service; are designed to address specific, localized concerns only, based on time and price limitations; do not include full removal, deep cleansing, detox, hair washing, blow-drying, re-bonding of all units, re-taping of all sections, full repositioning, or full reinstallation; do not guarantee optimal blending, longevity, symmetry, comfort, or uniform placement comparable to a full service.

The Client understands and agrees that the results of Express Services are inherently limited and may include visible blending differences, reduced longevity, buildup, tangling, shifting, or aesthetic imperfections when compared to full installation or full maintenance services.

The Client further acknowledges that Express Services are priced accordingly, and that the reduced cost directly reflects the reduced scope of work, time, and materials.

By selecting an Express Service, the Client voluntarily accepts these limitations and agrees not to expect or demand results equivalent to a full installation or full maintenance service.

Express Services are final, non-refundable, and non-adjustable, and do not qualify for re-dos, refunds, or credits based on expectations of full-service results.

Requests to upgrade expectations after completion of an Express Service do not obligate the Salon to provide additional services without additional payment.

1.4 Hair Extensions

The Salon works with premium 100% natural human hair extensions. The Client understands that although extensions are natural human hair, they are no longer connected to the scalp and therefore do not receive natural oils, moisture, or regeneration. As a result, extensions may behave differently than naturally growing hair.

1.5 Virgin Hair Extensions

Virgin hair extensions are hair products that have never been chemically colored or processed. Virgin hair is available upon request at a significantly higher cost.

The Client acknowledges that if they expect hair extensions to behave exactly like untreated natural hair during future coloring or chemical services, virgin hair must be selected.

2. NATURE OF COSMETIC SERVICES

2.1 The Client acknowledges and understands that hair extensions, hair coloring, hair cutting, and related salon services are cosmetic in nature only.

The Client understands that hair extension installation, even when performed professionally and properly, does not improve hair health, does not strengthen natural hair, does not stimulate hair growth, and does not provide any therapeutic, medical, or treatment-related benefit.

The purpose of hair extensions and related cosmetic services is solely to enhance visual appearance, including length, volume, density, shape, or overall aesthetic look.

2.2 The Client acknowledges that hair extensions are not a medical or restorative procedure, are not intended to treat hair loss, thinning, breakage, or scalp conditions, and should not be considered a solution for improving the biological condition of natural hair.

When properly selected, applied, and maintained by trained professionals, hair extension services are considered cosmetically safe, but they do not replace medical care, dermatological treatment, or hair restoration therapies.

2.3 No cosmetic service guarantees:

  • invisibility of attachments in all positions, lighting, or movement;

  • absence of sensation, weight, or awareness of attachment points;

  • unrestricted styling freedom in all directions;

  • identical results to photos, social media images, inspiration pictures, or expectations.

2.3 Results depend on natural hair length, density, texture, scalp sensitivity, prior chemical treatments, haircut structure, lifestyle, and aftercare compliance.

3. CONSULTATION & INFORMED CONSENT

3.1 Consultations (in-person or remote) are professional recommendations based on the Client’s hair condition, scalp condition, haircut structure, and information disclosed by the Client at the time of consultation. Consultations are not guarantees.

3.2 Method selection is ultimately the Client’s voluntary decision. The Salon does not pressure the Client to proceed with any recommended method.

3.3 The Client acknowledges that:

  • sensitive scalp or skin may cause discomfort with certain methods;

  • previous keratin treatments, chemical services, medications, or scalp conditions may affect comfort, wear, or results.

3.4 The Client voluntarily accepts all risks associated with their chosen method.

4. SHORT HAIR, COMPLEX CASES & REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS

4.1 In cases of very short hair, uneven layers, or limited density, the Client understands that full invisibility or seamless blending may be physically impossible.

4.2 The Client understands that lifting hair, pulling hair upward, or styling against gravity may reveal attachment areas.

4.3 The Salon does not guarantee a “magic,” invisible, or unrealistic result.

5. HAIRCUT, SHAPE & LENGTH DISCLOSURE

5.1 Creating shape, layering, or movement requires cutting length.

5.2 Choosing to preserve maximum length limits blending; choosing blending or shaping results in permanent length loss.

5.3 With keratin bond extensions, hair may become approximately 0.5 inch shorter with each maintenance due to re-bonding. Hair extensions do not increase in length over time.

5.4 Haircut, Maintenance & Length Expectations
The Client acknowledges that during maintenance services, extensions are repositioned closer to the root (“Move-Up”), which may reduce the visible length compared to the end of the wear period.
The Client agrees not to expect identical visible length after maintenance and acknowledges that trimming during maintenance does not constitute damage or improper service.

5.4 Haircut, Maintenance & Length Expectations Acknowledgment

I acknowledge and understand that during the wear period, my natural hair continues to grow. As a result, the hair extensions, which are attached to my natural hair, gradually sit lower over time as my hair grows out. When I return for a maintenance/correction appointment, the purpose of the service is a Move-Up, meaning extensions are removed and reinstalled closer to the root to restore proper placement, balance, comfort, and hair health. Because extensions are repositioned higher during maintenance, the visible length after reinstallation may appear shorter compared to how it looked at the end of the previous wear period (after 2–3 months of growth).

I agree not to expect identical visible length after a Move-Up service. I further acknowledge that with Keratin Bond Extensions, minor length loss is normal and unavoidable because bonds are trimmed and recreated during reinstallation. As with each maintenance appointment, I acknowledge the a minor reduction in total hair volume may occur as a result of these processes. This reduction is generally minimal and typically ranges from approximately 5% to 10% of the original installed hair volume.

I understand that this is a normal and acceptable outcome of professional maintenance and does not indicate negligence, improper service, or damage to the hair extensions.

Any haircut/trimming performed during maintenance is done to ensure proper blending, balance, and overall quality and does not constitute negligence, damage, or improper service.

6. COLOR MATCH & COLOR RESPONSIBILITY

6.1 Color Matching Basis
I acknowledge and understand that hair extension color matching is performed based on my current natural hair color at the time of consultation, or, in the case of remote consultation, based exclusively on the photos and/or videos provided by me.

I understand that lighting, camera quality, hair history, and prior chemical treatments may affect the accuracy of color matching when performed remotely.

6.2 Client Hair Color Changes After Consultation

I acknowledge that if I change, alter, refresh, tone, or recolor my natural hair after consultation or after submitting reference photos or videos, the Salon bears no responsibility for any resulting mismatch between my natural hair and the selected extensions.

6.3 Client Color Selection & Blending Responsibility
I understand that if I choose or approve a hair extension color that does not fully match my natural hair, I accept that blending may be visible or visually compromised.

I acknowledge that perfect blending cannot be guaranteed when the selected extension color differs from my natural hair.

6.4 Coloring Extensions Outside the Salon
I acknowledge that any coloring, toning, shading, or chemical processing of hair extensions performed outside of the Salon is done entirely at my own risk.

I understand that hair extensions are treated hair products and may react differently than natural hair, and the Salon is not responsible for any resulting color changes, damage, or texture alteration.

7. HAIR COLORING SERVICES - NATURAL HAIR RESPONSIBILITY

7.1 No Guaranteed Color Results
I acknowledge and understand that hair coloring services involve chemical processes and are influenced by my hair’s prior color history, porosity, condition, underlying pigment, and previous treatments, whether disclosed or not.

I understand that while the Salon strives to achieve the desired shade or tone, specific color results cannot be guaranteed, and variations in outcome are possible.

7.2 Client Hair History Disclosure

I acknowledge that failure to fully disclose my hair’s chemical history (including box dye, henna, prior bleaching, toning, or corrective color) may affect the final result, and the Salon is not responsible for unexpected color outcomes caused by undisclosed history.

7.3 No Liability for Unpredictable Color Outcomes

I understand that if the final color result differs from my expectations due to hair history, underlying pigment, or hair condition, this does not constitute negligence or improper service.

8. THIRD-PARTY HAIR & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

8.1 The Client acknowledges and agrees that if hair extensions are not purchased directly from the Salon, the Salon makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the quality, texture, dryness, shedding, tangling, longevity, durability, color behavior, or overall performance of such hair.

The Salon’s responsibility in such cases is strictly limited to the installation service only, and the Salon shall not be held liable for any issues arising from hair supplied by the Client or obtained from third-party vendors, suppliers, or salons.

8.2 Third-Party Removal, Adjustment & Intervention
The Client understands and agrees that any removal, adjustment, modification, correction, or manipulation of hair extensions performed by:

  • another salon, another stylist, a third party, or the Client themselves

immediately and automatically voids: all warranties, all guarantees, all liability, and all claims against the Salon.

The Salon shall not be responsible for hair loss, breakage, discomfort, pain, damage, or altered hair condition resulting from services performed outside the Salon.

8.3 No Liability Based on External Opinions

The Client understands that opinions, comments, or assessments made by other professionals do not constitute proof of improper service by the Salon and cannot be used as a basis for liability, refunds, or claims.

9. PRICING, DEPOSITS & CUSTOM PRODUCTION

9.1 Deposit Requirement
The Client acknowledges that a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure any hair extension installation appointment.

This deposit is required prior to the appointment date and is applied toward the total service cost.

9.2 Purpose of Deposit
The Client understands and agrees that the deposit covers costs including, but not limited to:

  • custom hair sourcing and supplier payment,

  • hair preparation and customization,

  • color matching and processing (if applicable),

  • method-specific preparation (keratin bonds, wefts, tapes),

  • labor performed prior to the appointment.

9.3 Custom Product & Final Sale
The Client acknowledges that hair extensions prepared for installation are custom-made, individualized products created specifically for the Client.

Due to the personalized nature of hair extensions:

  • hair cannot be resold,

  • hair cannot be reused for other clients,

  • hair cannot be returned to suppliers.

For this reason, all payments for hair constitute a final, non-refundable retail sale under all circumstances.

9.4 Cancellation After Hair Preparation
If the Client cancels, reschedules, or decides not to proceed after hair has been prepared or ordered, the Client may retain the hair for personal use or installation elsewhere; however, no refunds, exchanges, or credits will be issued for hair.

9.5 Limited Service Refund Policy

In rare cases where the Salon determines, at its sole and absolute discretion, that an installation service was not performed in accordance with its internal professional standards, the Salon may offer a limited goodwill adjustment.

Any such adjustment, if offered, shall apply to labor only, excludes hair products, materials, and third-party costs, and shall not exceed twenty percent (20%) of the labor portion actually paid for the service.

I acknowledge and understand that:

  • The provision of any adjustment is voluntary,

  • Does not constitute an admission of fault, negligence, or improper service, and

  • Does not create any obligation for future refunds, credits, or compensation.

10. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

10.1 Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to Salon availability. Rescheduling is offered as a courtesy and is not guaranteed.

10.2 Multiple Reschedules
The Client acknowledges that multiple rescheduling requests may result in:

  • loss of priority booking,

  • limited available dates,

  • refusal of future bookings.

10.3 Cancellation & No-Show
Late cancellations or failure to appear for an appointment (“no-show”) result in forfeiture of all deposits. Deposits are not transferable unless expressly approved by the Salon.

11. AFTERCARE RESPONSIBILITIES (MANDATORY)

11.1 Client Responsibility
The Client acknowledges that hair extensions require consistent and proper aftercare and do not maintain appearance without effort.

Failure to follow aftercare instructions automatically voids all warranties and releases the Salon from liability.

11.2 Required Aftercare Practices
The Client agrees to:

  • brush hair 2–3 times daily using an extension-safe brush;

  • never sleep with wet or damp hair;

  • fully dry hair after washing, especially near attachment points;

  • use heat protectant before any heat styling;

  • avoid oils, masks, conditioners, or heavy products near the roots or attachments;

  • wear hair in a low braid or low ponytail while sleeping;

  • avoid tight or high ponytails;

  • protect hair during exposure to pools, oceans, or saunas;

  • attend maintenance appointments within recommended timelines.

11.3 No Liability for Improper Care
The Salon is not responsible for dryness, tangling, matting, shedding, slippage, reduced longevity, or damage resulting from improper care, delayed maintenance, or lifestyle factors.

12. WARRANTY (48 HOURS)

12.1 Warranty Period
The Client acknowledges that the Salon provides a strictly limited 48-hour warranty from the time of service completion.

12.2 Scope of Warranty
The warranty applies to workmanship only and is limited exclusively to reattachment of slipped bonds reported within the 48-hour period.

12.3 Exclusions
Any concerns reported after 48 hours are considered: normal wear, aftercare-related, lifestyle-related, or outside the Salon’s responsibility.

12.4 Normal Strand Loss
The Client acknowledges that loss or slippage of up to 1–10 individual keratin strands within 3 months is considered normal and does not indicate improper installation.

12.5 Warranty Void Conditions
The warranty is void if: aftercare rules are not followed; maintenance is delayed; hair is altered or removed by a third party.

13. METHOD-SPECIFIC WEAR LIMITS & MAINTENANCE

13.1 Keratin Bond Extensions

  • Fine or thin hair: maintenance required every 8–10 weeks

  • Medium to thick hair: maintenance required every 10–12 weeks

13.2 Tape-In Extensions
Tape-in extensions are safe to wear for approximately 6 weeks, with a maximum recommended wear of 6–8 weeks.

13.3 Weft Extensions
Weft extensions require full reinstallation every 6–8 weeks. Express Move-Up services are temporary and do not replace full reinstallation.

13.4 Late Maintenance Liability
The Salon is not responsible for hair damage, tangling, matting, discomfort, thinning, or breakage resulting from overdue maintenance.

13.5 Natural Hair Shedding, Retention & Removal Awareness

The Client acknowledges and understands that natural hair shedding occurs daily as part of the normal hair growth cycle, regardless of whether hair extensions are worn.

When hair extensions are installed, naturally shed hairs are retained within the extension method (including keratin bonds, tape-in extensions, or wefts) instead of immediately falling away, as they would without extensions.

The Client understands that during the wear period, naturally shed hairs may remain trapped within the bonds, tapes, or wefts, and may become visible only at the time of maintenance, removal, or reinstallation.

The Client acknowledges that the appearance of shed hairs during removal or maintenance - including varying strand lengths or hairs with a small white bulb at the end - is a normal indication of natural shedding and does not mean that hair was pulled out, damaged, or improperly removed.

The Client understands that the amount of visible shed hair during removal may vary depending on the length of time the extensions were worn, individual shedding patterns, and hair growth cycles.Such shedding does not constitute hair loss, traction alopecia, improper installation, or damage caused by the Salon.

The Client further acknowledges that natural shedding is expected and healthy, and that properly applied extensions should allow natural shed hairs to release during maintenance or removal without pulling additional hair from the scalp.

14. ALLERGIES & MEDICAL DISCLOSURE

14.1 1 Medical Disclosure

The Client confirms that they have fully disclosed any known or suspected:

  • active or excessive hair loss, scalp conditions or sensitivities, medical or hormonal conditions affecting hair or scalp stability, medications or treatments that may impact hair growth, retention, skin sensitivity, or healing.

14.2 Product & Material Sensitivity Acknowledgment

The Client acknowledges and understands that hair extension services involve the use of professional adhesives, bonding agents, tapes, removers, metals, tools, and related cosmetic materials, the specific formulations and compositions of which are proprietary and not disclosed.

The Client confirms that they have no known allergies or sensitivities to such materials, or that any known sensitivities have been fully disclosed prior to service.

14.3 Unpredictable Sensitivity & No Guarantee

The Client acknowledges that individual reactions to cosmetic materials cannot be fully predicted, even in the absence of known allergies.

The Client understands that redness, itching, irritation, tenderness, inflammation, or sensitivity may occur and do not, by themselves, indicate improper service, negligence, or product defect.

14.4 Undisclosed Conditions & Release of Liability

Failure to disclose medical conditions, sensitivities, allergies, or relevant hair or scalp history releases the Salon from all liability.

The Client acknowledges that allergic reactions, sensitivities, or adverse responses do not constitute improper service and are not grounds for refunds, chargebacks, or compensation.

14.5 Client Responsibility & Right to Refuse Service

The Salon reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if, at any time, the Client experiences discomfort, adverse reaction, or if undisclosed conditions become apparent.

15. DISSATISFACTION, REFUNDS & PAYMENTS

15.1 Subjective Nature of Cosmetic Services
The Client acknowledges that hair extension services are cosmetic and inherently subjective. Individual perception of beauty, comfort, length, volume, color, and styling varies and cannot be objectively guaranteed.

Dissatisfaction based on: personal taste, emotional response, styling preference, comparison to inspiration photos, expectations not physically achievable, does not constitute a defect, error, negligence, or improper service.

15.2 Approval at Time of Service
The Client confirms that they are responsible for inspecting the result of the service before leaving the Salon.

If the Client has any concerns regarding: placement, blending, comfort, length, density, haircut or styling, such concerns must be communicated immediately during the appointment or within the 48-hour warranty period.

Leaving the Salon without objection constitutes acceptance and approval of the completed service.

15.3 Post-Departure Adjustments
Any requests made after leaving the Salon, outside the 48-hour warranty, are considered: normal wear, aftercare-related, preference-based, or new services, and may require additional booking and payment.

15.4 No Refund for Subjective Dissatisfaction
Refunds, credits, discounts, or complimentary services are not issued for dissatisfaction based on:

  • personal preference, styling habits, lifestyle changes, post-service perception, comparison to photos or videos.

15.5 Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

The Client expressly agrees not to initiate chargebacks, disputes, or payment reversals for services rendered or hair purchases.

The Client understands that the Salon will dispute any chargeback using: this Agreement, signed consent, service documentation, photographic evidence, communication records.

Any chargeback initiated in violation of this Agreement constitutes a breach of contract.

15.6 Online Bookings, Full Payment & Non-Refundable Policy

The Client acknowledges and understands that online bookings made through the Salon’s website require full payment at the time of booking.

The Client understands that online full payment secures and reserves the Salon’s time, staff, and availability, and that the appointment is considered confirmed upon payment.

The Client acknowledges that all full payments made online are non-refundable, including but not limited to cases of cancellation, rescheduling, change of mind, personal circumstances, or dissatisfaction prior to the service being performed.

The Client understands that this policy applies specifically to online bookings made without an in-person consultation, and applies regardless of whether the Client is new or returning.

In contrast, in-salon bookings may be subject to different deposit requirements, which are determined separately and do not alter the non-refundable nature of online full payments.

15.7 Exceptional Circumstances & Discretionary Refunds

The Client acknowledges and understands that all online full payments made through Salon’s website are non-refundable by default.

In rare and exceptional circumstances, and at the Salon’s sole and absolute discretion, the Salon may consider issuing a partial or full refund only if a legitimate and verifiable reason is presented.

Any such refund, if approved, is:

  • Not guaranteed, not automatic, not an admission of fault or liability, and issued only with the Salon’s explicit written approval.

The Client understands that inability to attend, scheduling conflicts, personal circumstances, changes of mind, or dissatisfaction prior to service do not automatically qualify as exceptional circumstances.

The Salon reserves the right to deny any refund request that does not meet its internal criteria for exceptional consideration.

16. CLIENT CONDUCT, RESPECT & REVIEW POLICY

16.1 Required Conduct

The Client agrees to maintain respectful, professional, and appropriate behavior at all times, including while on Salon premises and when communicating with Salon staff by phone, text, email, social media, or online platforms.

16.2 Prohibited Behavior

The following behavior is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated: yelling, raised voice, intimidation, or aggressive tone. Threats, harassment, profanity, or hostile conduct. Emotional manipulation, pressure tactics, or disruptive behavior. Any conduct that interferes with the Salon’s ability to safely and professionally provide services.

16.3 Review Blackmail, Threats & Coercion

The Client expressly acknowledges and agrees that threatening to post negative reviews, complaints, or public statements in order to obtain: refunds, discounts, free services, re-dos, credits, or any form of compensation constitutes review blackmail and coercive conduct.

Such behavior is not protected consumer feedback, is considered abusive and manipulative, and will result in immediate termination of service.

Such behavior is not protected feedback and is considered inappropriate and abusive.

16.4 Salon Rights in Response to Misconduct

In the event of inappropriate, abusive, or coercive conduct, including review threats, the Salon reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to:

  • Immediately pause or terminate the service or appointment, refuse to continue providing services, deny any refunds, discounts, credits, or compensation, require the Client to leave the premises, refuse future bookings, document the incident for internal, legal, platform, or chargeback purposes

The Client acknowledges that no refunds or adjustments will be issued in cases involving threats, coercion, or misconduct.

16.5 Honest Reviews

The Salon respects the Client’s right to post honest, factual, and non-coercive reviews based on their genuine experience.

However, manipulation, threats, extortion, or conditional review demands are not permitted and are not considered protected consumer expression.

17. DOCUMENTATION & RIGHT TO REFUSE / TERMINATE SERVICE

17.1 Photo & Video Documentation
The Client consents to photo or video documentation of:

  • the final result, placement, blending, haircut, for quality control, record-keeping, and dispute documentation.

Such documentation may be retained confidentially and used solely for Salon protection and verification.

17.2 Right to Refuse or Terminate Service
The Salon reserves the right to refuse or terminate service if: inaccurate or incomplete information is provided; undisclosed medical or hair conditions arise; contraindications become apparent; Client behavior becomes disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe.

Termination due to Client behavior or undisclosed conditions does not entitle the Client to a refund.

18. GOVERNING LAW

18.1 Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

18.2 Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Client and the Salon and supersedes all prior verbal or written statements, representations, or promises.

The Client acknowledges that they are not relying on any verbal guarantees or promises outside of this written Agreement.

18.3 Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By booking an appointment, you agree to these policies.
