Hair Extensions Care & Salon Policy

Hair extensions are cosmetic luxury services that require ongoing maintenance, professional upkeep, and realistic expectations.

Proper at-home care, timely maintenance appointments, and professional removal procedures are essential to maintain the appearance, longevity, and health of the natural hair.

Recommended Maintenance Timeline

Maintenance timing varies depending on the extension method, natural hair type, lifestyle, home care, and daily wear.

Typical maintenance recommendations:

• Keratin Bonds (Fine Hair): up to 2–2.5 months
• Keratin Bonds (Thicker Hair): up to 3–3.5 months
• Tape-In Extensions: approximately 6–8 weeks
• Weft Extensions: approximately 6–8 weeks

Delaying maintenance appointments beyond the recommended timeframe may result in tangling, matting, slipping, tension, breakage, or additional maintenance work.

We are not responsible for issues resulting from overdue maintenance, improper aftercare, excessive wear, or failure to follow salon recommendations.

Keratin Bond Maintenance Expectations

With keratin bond extensions, some gradual reduction in overall length and fullness over time is considered normal due to regular maintenance, rebonding procedures, trimming, natural wear, and daily brushing/shedding.

During maintenance appointments, keratin bonds are repositioned closer to the root area. As a result, extensions may appear shorter after reinstallation compared to the end of the previous wear period.

Rebonding procedures may also result in minor volume reduction over time due to normal wear, bond trimming, natural shedding, and strand maintenance preparation.

Additional haircuts, reshaping, or blending services may further affect the final visible length and overall fullness of the extensions.

Initial Concerns & Correction Period

Any concerns regarding the initial service experience, installation quality, or immediate results must be reported within 48 hours after the appointment.

Reporting no concerns within 48 hours confirms client acceptance and satisfaction with the initial service result and installation.

For keratin bond extensions, unusual installation-related slipping or excessive strand loss concerns must be reported within 30 days of the appointment.

During the normal wear period, limited individual strand shedding or slipping may occur and is considered normal wear for keratin bond extensions.

A small amount of strand movement or individual bond loss over time does not indicate a faulty installation.

For tape-in and weft extensions, installation-related concerns must be reported within 14 days of the appointment.

Correction periods apply only to unusual installation-related concerns and do not serve as warranties for the full wear period.

If an installation-related issue occurs during the initial correction period, a complimentary adjustment may be offered at the salon’s discretion.

After the initial correction period, all adjustments, move-ups, reinstallations, maintenance appointments, strand replacements, and corrections are considered maintenance services and may require an additional charge.

Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of hair extensions, hair preparation, custom coloring, bonding, labor, reserved appointment time, and product costs, all hair purchases, deposits, online booking payments, and completed services are final and non-refundable.

Hair/product portions of payments are non-refundable under all circumstances.

In rare cases involving immediate service dissatisfaction reported within 48 hours, partial labor-related compensation may be reviewed solely at the salon owner’s discretion. Product, hair, preparation, and customization costs remain non-refundable.

Deposits/Custom product/Final sale

The client acknowledges that a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure any hair extensions installation appointment. For this reason, all hair related payments constitute a final, non-refundable retail sale under all circumstances.

Client-Supplied Hair

If hair not provided by our salon is used, including third-party brands, outside manufacturers, or client-supplied hair, we are not responsible for the quality, longevity, previous chemical processing, tangling, shedding, discoloration, incompatibility, manufacturing defects, or final performance of the hair.

Client-supplied hair may affect the final result, installation longevity, and overall wear experience.

Removal & Third-Party Services

We strongly recommend that all extension coloring, maintenance, adjustments, and removal procedures be performed professionally by our salon.

Hair extensions require specialized products, techniques, and removal procedures. Services performed by another provider or independently at home may negatively affect the extensions, installation integrity, longevity, and natural hair condition.

We are not responsible for issues resulting from third-party services, improper removal procedures, outside coloring, reinstallation, or self-removal attempts.

Removal procedures performed outside our salon automatically release the salon from responsibility for the condition of the extensions or natural hair after removal.

Aftercare responsibility

The Client acknowledges that hair extensions require consistent and proper aftercare and do not maintain appearance without effort. Failure to follow aftercare instructions automatically voids all warranties and releases the Salon for liability.
